Sludge Cleaner nominated for Best innovation 2010!

CMI Sludge Cleaner nominated to national finals for best innovation 2010 at Scandinavian Technical Fair 19-22 October 2010 For the second time a product developed and innovated by CMI Marine AB, is nominated for best innovation at Scandinavian Technical Fair in Stockholm and received Nobel SKAPA prize in Kalmar County and represent the county at the final on the Fair. The first time it was the Oil Recoverer in year 2006, which separates oil from water. This time it was CMI´s latest product, CMI Sludge Cleaner, turn to be nominated. The Sludge Cleaner does not only separate the oil from water but it also clean the dirty oil, so it can be re-used again, so called clean sludge. The CSC has no wear damage, small footprint, easy to operate, minimal operation and maintanance costs, because it contains no loose parts and no rotating parts. The separation of sludge oil will be done in two steps. The separation process will be controlled by temperature and densities of the oil. After being separated from water the sludge oil pass a filter (100µm) to be cleaned from dirt and particles (filter cleaning after customer request). As the Oil Recoverer, the CMI Sludge Cleaner use no chemicals in the process.
